Clark International Airport The Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (DMIA), now on 24-hour operation, is on course in its development as a premier gateway of the Philippines in the next 10 years. It is one of the biggest aviation complexes in Asia with its two 3.2 kilometer parallel runways that will be extended to 4 kilometers to accomodate new generation wide-bodied aircraft. DMIA is certified by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) with ratings of Category I for Precision Approach Runway and Category IX for the Emergency Services. It is well equipped with a Terminal Radar Approach Control, Instrument Landing System, Navigational Aids, Meteorological Equipment, and Complete Airfield Lighting System.
Aerodome System

DMIA have two (2) runways in parallel configuration. The primary runway (Runway 02R/20L) has a length of 3,200 meters and a width of 60 meters. It is fully equipped with all navigational aids and lighting facilities and has a Category 1 rating for precision approach. The secondary runway (Runway 02L/20R) has a length of 3,200 meters and a width of 45 meters. It is not yet equipped with navigational aids and lighting facilities and is currently used for Visual Flight Rules (VFR) only.
